Overview: A seasoned digital professional and strategic thinker, the Director is skilled at resolving challenges, exploring varied business opportunities, and leading multiple teams. She is perceived by the Agency as a role model for the PM department by consistently demonstrating a conscientious and industrious work ethic, and generates results that positively affect cross-brand, team, and departmental concerns. A sought-after leader capable of developing and implementing best practices for the department and the Agency. She is responsible, along with their Account team partners, for the overall health of their brands. The Vice President Director will oversee SOW management of a collection of clients and brands, will develop and lead a large dynamic brand prioritization process that balances risk/return, drives alignment with Patients and Purpose business strategy and clients, and accelerates projects through resource alignment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining an overarching view of the business objectives and strategy while ensuring that project requests are aligned with the annual SOW. The role requires deep experience with regard to process, technical issues and financial acumen, and overall project prioritization to ensure brands run smoothly. This person begins to develop a stronger leadership presence within P&P,and works with director levels to develop strategic plans and provide issue resolution on a broader scale beyond the individual brand level. The Vice President Director develops key client relationships by demonstrating deeper understanding of the brand, as well as key projects. She/he is capable of offering strategic technical solutions, and continues to participate in client led meetings as needed to provide a more senior level of support. They are the go-to resource with regard to inner workings of client technical, operations, and financial teams/systems, and outside vendors. The VP, AD provides a higher level of support to ensure alignment across all parties as needed. This position is accountable for delivering all projects, within a brand, on schedule, within budget, and with the client s expected deliverables deployed. The VP, Associate Director will oversee the acquisition of resources to manage the projects within their Brands and will provide coaching and mentoring to their project managers and project team members, as well as junior and mid-level folks across departments. She effectively leads and supports employee engagement opportunities and fosters cross- discipline relationships to better our agency s culture, resources, talent development, and marketplace position. The Vice President Associate Director will have primary accountability for the overall portfolio of multiple brands under single or multiple companies. The successful candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision as well as within a team environment. She/he possesses excellent prioritization skills and understands how to balance the divergent interests of both agency and client-side stakeholders Job Responsibilities Manages and maintains an enterprise view of all work and facilitates the appropriate governance of that work across the line of business Partners with department head regarding staffing; possesses the ability to prioritize brand needs amidst staffing shortages Considers the agency ad department needs in balance with their own goals Implements and leads an extensive, dynamic brand and project management process for the evaluation, prioritization and execution of program/projects while working in close partnership with the Account leaders and creative directors Ensures effective performance and status reporting to team for all program/projects within the brands to which they are assigned Primary communication conduit & interacts effectively with team members and stakeholders of diverse backgrounds to gain their trust and respect A PM Vice President is expected to fill in for an account director when required Ability to curtail and resolve conflicts as they arise Responsible for communicating all brand & project status reporting/metrics to all stakeholders, including clients Acts as the escalation point of contact for all issues related to digital tactics Demonstrates the ability to lead and influence junior teams, peers, and upper management effectively Fully understands the concerns of various resources and levels, and can navigate between them with diplomacy and ease Responsible for managing relationships with Finance, Legal, Purchasing, Vendor Management, 3rd Party Service Providers, IT Delivery & IT Support Managers Actively pursues technical knowledge, including emerging technologies Possesses strong Microsoft Project knowledge Possesses a strong knowledge of various software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc) Ability to clearly communicate scope, expectations, plans, & hold team accountable for project commitments Strong presentation skills Stellar relationship building competency Ability to quickly learn internal Financial, HR, Legal, and IT processes and controls Qualifications Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 10 years of interactive project management experience in an advertising agency or similar environment Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience strongly preferred, though not required Thorough understanding of interactive mediums; RWD Websites, banners, native applications, kiosks, Tablet PCs, and emerging technology Demonstrated ability to partner with and lead technology vendors and client side technology stakeholders Strong understanding of development technologies (AEM, PHP, .NET, Rails, .JS, etc.) and quality assurance processes and collaboration tools (Jira, Zephyr, et al) This is not a coding position but the candidate is required to understand various platforms, and the pros and cons of each, and constantly be researching emerging technologies) Fluent in Waterfall and Scrum/Agile methodologies Superior verbal and written communication skills Excellent collaboration skills Fantastic presentation skills; able to present ideas to internal/external teams, with a strong focus on client presentations Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
