We are looking for a technology executive to join the management team in Corporate Technology and lead a central team of 10 Business Analysts and Project Managers. This team is primarily based in New York, but with opportunities to grow in other locations. The scope of projects implemented by the Corporate Technology teams is broad, covering all of Middle and Back Office functions (Trade Capture and Booking, Position Keeping, Operations, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Human Resources, Investor Relations, Procurement, etc.) and ranging from complex vendor system integrations to large in-house builds.. Responsibilities. Manage a high-performance team of senior BAs and PMs. Attract, develop and retain top BA and PM talent. Be an engaged member of the firm's senior IT management team and act as a role model for more junior staff. Select and promote the adoption of common best practices and tools for business analysis and project management. Partner with the Global Head of Corporate Technology and his Business Manager to define the annual roadmap for the organization and track and report: resource allocation, project status, and cost at the highest level of transparency and detail. Become involved directly, as a BA and/or a PM as needed, in some of the key strategic projects and interact with stakeholders in all functions of the firm. Partner with the Technology leads in software development, quality assurance and production support to establish and enforce effective methodologies, assign the appropriate BA and PM resources to projects, and constantly apply to new projects the lessons learned from prior ones to deliver technology solutions to all stakeholders with high quality and within budget.. Required Experience and Skills. At least 15 years of experience in project management and business analysis roles in Financial Services. At least 8 years of experience in leadership positions managing teams both onshore and offshore with responsibility for talent attraction, development and retention, budget management, and ownership of and accountability for the organization's objectives. Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills; ability to articulate strong views about a complex subject matter while operating in a team environment and a consensus driven culture. Ability to interact with senior management both in IT and at the business/stakeholder level to define and communicate strategy, report progress, and address prioritization issues. Solid understanding of technology and architecture in the Financial Services space with experience leading teams through complex projects following both waterfall and agile methodologies and modern \"DevOps\" practices. Detailed understanding of at least some of the end-to-end business flows in a Financial Services firm with a focus on Middle Office, Operations, Treasury, Finance and Compliance across asset classes. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a self-starter, energetic, independent work ethic.
