  • The role is two fold: 80% Client focussed & 20% Agency focussed
  • Lead and operating at Global Brand Marketing lead level. Develop client brand strategy for their franchises to build our client brands, create business opportunities and supports business growth.
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end projects from unpicking the brief through to workshop moderation, strategic development, analytics and reporting.
  • Development and implementation of McCann proprietary process and tools and of other complementary processes and techniques to ensure we offer the most relevant, effective and competitive planning service (full training will be provided as necessary)
  • Delivery of consistency of use of processes across all parts of the agency to ensure a collective understanding of the tools and processes used with the strategy planning process.
  • Provide best in class consultancy on how best to achieve business and brand goals for clients.
  • The strategic stewardship of a London Global strategic Client team & MCH
  • Working with the Head of Strategy on implementing Strategic prowess and calibre of talent as per the Head of Strategy s vision & growth plan

  • A proven track record (at least 10 years or equivalent) in planning within top tier marketing communication agencies including significant experience of planning for health brands.
  • Must have worked at an international and multi-market level.
  • Proven case histories and definable business results, creative or effectiveness awards, testimonials from clients.
  • Leadership skills; able to build, mentor and develop high performing teams.
  • Experience of working within a multi-national company, able to quickly pick up and follow systems and processes.
  • Cross medium creative awareness and understanding of new technologies.
  • Be confident and articulate in front of senior clients and large audiences.
  • Must know what it takes to win pitches and build trust and respect of the Planning team and wider agency departments
