They need an Account Director who is client relationship driven, with experience leading digital partnerships for companies in a variety of industries.. The role requires someone who can act as a strategic advisor to customers, helping them develop and achieve their objectives, but always with an eye to sales, expansion of clientele and bringing in new leads. The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of digital media advertising, is fluent in media terminology, and has great presentation and communication skills.. Primary Responsibilities:. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, leading all meetings, presentations, and communications to continuously reinforce the value proposition; maintain and grow a portfolio of client accounts by forging deep relationships with all key influencers at all levels of customer organizations and selling through new opportunities. Maintain a full understanding of client needs and business objectives, manage client expectations and ensure delivery on the clients business goals; develop and execute Client Development plans, including the identification of cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Interpret and evaluate client digital media investments across multiple channels, including digital display, social/search, OTT, mobile, programmatic and emerging channels/technologies. Provide agendas, and meeting recaps; develop all SOWs, renegotiate contracts and utilize project management best practices to ensure effective communication; take ownership of escalations and finance resolution. Required Experience, Skills and Traits:. 6+ years experience in digital media (eg. accounts, strategy, planning and buying), including experience working in an agency environment at the Senior Account Manager / Account Director Level; experience liaising with clients at senior level. Demonstrable experience growing revenues and effectively managing budgets / client profitability; excellent presentation, communication, pitch and negotiation skills. High-level expertise in all digital channels: PPC, Social, Programmatic, etc..
